TOP STORIES

1. Pentagon Purge: One in Five Generals and Admirals Fired

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the firing of 20% of America’s generals and admirals — the number-crunchers say 10% of flag officers were fired outright and another 10% of general-officer slots were eliminated. Speaking at Marine Corps Base Quantico in his “State of the Force” address, Hegseth framed it as a return to “warrior ethos,” announced a new Autonomous Warfare Command for drones and robotics, launched a Pentagon Office of Religious Affairs, and declared: “We are no longer the woke department, or the weak department.”

WHAT THEY’RE NOT TELLING YOU: The same press now clutching its pearls spent years cheering as the Pentagon went woke — prioritizing politics over warfighting. Hegseth is doing what voters were promised: a military that fights wars, not culture wars. Sources: People | Le Monde

2. 250,000 Visas Revoked: Criminals, Fraudsters, and Drunk Drivers Lose U.S. Visas

The State Department has revoked more than 250,000 visas since President Trump took office, State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott told Fox News Digital on September 30. The reasons: DUIs, assaults, thefts, sexual assault, child abuse, drug crimes, embezzlement, birth tourism schemes (2,300 cases), and national security threats. “A U.S. visa is a privilege, not a right — and if you violate the terms of that privilege, you will lose it,” Pigott said. The administration is now preparing to revoke up to 200,000 more B-1/B-2 visas from foreigners who gamed the asylum system.

WHAT THEY’RE NOT TELLING YOU: For four years visas were handed out while the border was wide open. Now the cleanup is happening one revocation at a time — 250,000 and counting — and the media that ignored the crisis wants you to feel sorry for the criminals losing their paperwork. 3. Portland: Antifa Torches ICE Facility, Rams Burning Dumpster at Police — 10 Arrested

Antifa rioters set fire to the ICE facility in Portland’s South Waterfront district overnight, rammed a burning dumpster into police lines, and hurled fireworks at the building. Portland police moved in around 1 a.m. Friday and arrested 10 people on charges including arson, interfering with a peace officer, and resisting arrest. Federal officers on the facility roof deployed crowd-control munitions and fully dispersed the mob by morning.

4. September Jobs Report Drops Today at 8:30am ET — Here’s What to Watch

The Bureau of Labor Statistics releases the September jobs report this morning. Forecasters expect around 95,000–98,000 new payrolls (vs. 162,000 in August), unemployment holding at 4.1%, and hourly earnings up 0.3%. ADP’s private-sector report showed 90,000 jobs added. The White House is already claiming victory ahead of the numbers, crediting Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts — no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security — with putting $82 billion back in workers’ pockets.

WHAT THEY’RE NOT TELLING YOU: Watch how the numbers get covered. Good report? Buried on page six. Any softness? Front-page “recession fears.” The same outlets that called Biden’s economy “strong” while families drowned in grocery prices will grade this one on a curve — against Trump. 5. Russia Bombs Ukraine’s Power Grid as Winter Closes In — 7 Killed, Kyiv Blacked Out

Russia launched one of its largest combined strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in months overnight September 30, hitting the Trypilska thermal power plant, Kyiv CHP-5, and power facilities across 11 oblasts with ballistic missiles and nearly 190–285 drones, including jet-powered variants. Seven people were killed. Emergency power cuts were imposed in Kyiv and three surrounding regions — the first in the capital since spring. Ukraine’s economy minister warns Winter 2026–2027 could be “the hardest and harshest winter” of the war.

WHAT THEY’RE NOT TELLING YOU: Billions in American tax dollars have flowed to Ukraine while our own border, cities, and infrastructure rot. QUICK HITS

  • UN warns of global debt domino: UNDP chief Alexander De Croo warns developing countries face pandemic-level distress — soaring borrowing costs, the strongest El Niño since 1950, and Iran-war energy prices could push 49 million more into food insecurity by end of 2027. Reuters
  • Trump renames it: An executive order formally replaces “Artificial Intelligence” with “Super Intelligence.” The branding war is real.
  • UK PM points at Iran: “Strong indications” Iran was involved in the airbase incident, Britain’s prime minister says.
  • Tennessee halts executions after a woman survived a lethal injection attempt — the system couldn’t even carry out its own sentence.
  • ICE’s “worst of the worst” roundup: violent assailants, robbers, and burglars — all criminal illegal aliens — swept up in New York, Utah, New Jersey, Virginia, and California.
